PROCUREMENT OF VEHICLES LIBERIA PETROLEUM REFINING COMPANY

1. The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company has set aside through its 2008 budget fund toward the cost of the Procurement of various types of vehicles for its operational usage.

2. The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of the following:

2 FIRE TRUCK DIESEL ENGINE WITH WATER AND FOAM TANKER 1 UNIT 90 DAYS 90 DAYS

 

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Concession Act (PPCA).

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Manager, Procurement Section/ Bushrod Island and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below PST Office, Monrovia, Liberia from 10: 00 A.M - 3:00 P.M, Monday - Friday.6


5. Qualifications requirements include:

A. Company profile,

B. Article of incorporation/Proof of business registration 2007/2008, C. Recent Tax Clearance, D. Proof of similar engagement undertaken within the last three years (Name of clients, location and contact information) E. Give detail description and specification of each item quoted, F. States desired payment terms, G. State unit cost and total price per category.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the office of the Procurement Manager/Procurement Section, Liberia Petroleum Refining Company, Bushrod Island, Monrovia, Liberia upon payment of a non refundable fee United States Dollars 250.00. The method of payment will be CASH ONLY. The Bidding Documents will be sent by DHL with a shipping cost of One Hundred United States Dollar.9

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. All sealed Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of atleast 2% of the total bid price. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be immediately opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the Training Hall of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company at 2:00 P.M on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. All late bids will be rejected.
