BRANCH COMMUNITY CENTER Admission: $25.00 Fellow Cuttingtonian: Cuttington Needs You Now! Have you ever wanted to say thanks and show appreciation in a formal way to your parents or sponsor/supporter for sacrifices made and support provided while you were a student at Cuttington; but have not had the opportunity to do so, particularly in a public setting? The CUCAA Benefit Dinner & Concert scheduled for April 16, 2005, at the Long Branch Community Center, 8700 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901 - Tel: (301) 431 5702, is a perfect opportunity to do just that. We will also honor a few others who have made meaningful contributions to the cause of Cuttington. Please send the name(s) of your honoree(s), living or deceased, to be placed on a Certificate/Memorial, along with a donation of $25.00. Proceeds generated go towards upgrading the standards at Cuttington. Please send payment before or by April 2, 2005. In recent years, the Alumni Association has made many contributions to Cuttington; including, donating approximately $15,000 for dormitory renovation, thousands of books, computers, laboratory equipment, selecting a President, and staff development; to list a few. The Association has been registered in the State of Maryland as a non-stock corporation and has an application pending for a 501 C) 3) status. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for Cuttington. How can you help? Cuttington was there for US when we needed a sound education. Now, it is time to give back - in a meaningful way- to our dear Alma Mater. Our last Reunion did not realize its financial goal; in spite of the great attendance. Thanks for your generosity and continuous support. We generated a total of $ 9,372; but, netted only $3,732. Reunion 05, in planning, will be a REMEMORABLE EVENT!!!! The Association is presently constructing a website, www.cucaa.org, and needs your mailing & e-mail addresses to update our database. The photo album section needs scanned photos of your good old days at CUC. This website will provide for us a better mechanism for information dissemination.
