Undrafted from Towson this year, Victor was a part of the New York Jets’ and New Orleans Saints’ minicamps but was not signed to a contract by either team, so this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
As a collegian, Victor scored 37 all-purpose touchdowns, rushing for 3,144 yards off 588 carries while adding 138 yards on 18 receptions. As a back, he averaged 5.4 yards per attempt.
He enters a crowded backfield already occupied by Adrian Peterson, Mark Ingram, Travaris Cadet, and rookie draft selection Alvin Kamara, all of whom the team says have a role to play in their offense this season.
Note: Darius Victor is the son of Gary Victor and Patrica Seah Victor, two proud Liberian parents who are celebrating and praising God for the opportunity granted to their son.
Congratulations Darius from the Victor, Lambert, Richards, Coleman and Seah families. We are so proud of your many accomplishments. Good luck in the game and in life. We love you.
Four years ago, Darius entering Towson University in Towson, Maryland, said he wanted to play for the NFL. Darius graduated from Towson University in May 2017 and on, August 1, 2017, his dream became a reality. You did it kid. "You did it!"
