Brilliant Taylor Acolatse

The Acolatse, Ricks, Dennis, Wilson and Karbbar families regret to announce the home-going of our brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Brilliant Taylor Acolatse (affectionally called BT). This sad event occurred on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 (3:19AM) at the Albert Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia , PA.

He attended the College of West Africa, the University of Liberia, and later relocated to the United States where he attended Allen University in South Carolina.


Brilliant is pre-deceased by his father, Taylor Cephas Acolatse and Mothers, Albertha Theora Ricks-Acolatse and Venus Perkins-Acolatse; sister, Margaret Acolatse; brothers, Winston Pyrce, Boima Karmo (Julia), Moses Acolatse, and Joseph Benson; aunties, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his sisters, Tomani Acolatse-Cheeseman (Joseph B) and Elizabeth Paye; brothers, Joachim Cephus Acolatse, Nixon Smith (Grace Dottie), and Cephas Acolatse (Minta); two aunties, Jenetha Ricks-Gardiner and Aletha Ricks-Marshall; one uncle, Sam Ricks; three aunties in-law, Margaret Wilson, Edith Ricks, and Yvonne Ricks. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
