Mrs. Mary Ledlow Anderson

The Ledlow and Anderson families announce with great sadness and regret the death of their Matriarch, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ledlow Anderson (also known as Mother Dear) of Caldwell Road, Anderson Yard, Monrovia, Liberia.
Mother Dear’s transition from labor to reward occurred at the SOS Clinic in Congo Town, Monrovia, Liberia on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:00pm. She leaves to mourn her loss, her sister Beollia Myers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, neighbors, a host of relatives and very close friends, many children and their spouses including: Robert “Borbor” W. Anderson Jr., Leona “Babysister” Anderson-Waiwaiku, Elizabeth “Hardtime” Anderson-Bowen, Marian “Mam” Anderson-Benson, Al-Rufus “Papa” Anderson, Cecelia “Teta” Anderson-McGee (Charles), Comfort “Kpai” Anderson-Miller (Elijah), Yolanda “Younaway” Browne (David).
She was predeceased by her husband Mr. Robert W. Anderson Sr., her father Thomas Ledlow, her mother Kai Wleh, her brothers Forkay Teah, James Ledlow, her sister Sabor Teah, and grandchild Clarence M. Anderson.

Mother Dear’s remains will be removed from The A. B. Anderson Funeral Services at 12:00pm and taken to her home on Caldwell Road – Anderson Yard for 3 hrs. She will then be transported to the First United Methodist Church – Ashmun Street., Monrovia, Liberia.
- Wake Keeping Friday June 24, 2016 6pm-9pm
An evening celebration of songs and praise will be held at the First United Methodist Church – Ashmun Street, Monrovia, Liberia
NOTE: As a wish of Mother Dear, we request that all tributes be paid through song.
- Funeral Service Saturday June 25, 2016 10 am
First United Methodist Church – Ashmun Street, Monrovia, Liberia
Following the service, Mother Dear will be laid to rest in the township of Virginia, Liberia.
