The Andrews and Johnson families regret to announce with profound sadness the home-going of Mary Ellen Andrews, beloved Mother, Aunty, Grandmother, Great Grand Mother and Cousin.

This sad event occurred at the John F Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia on February 14, 2008. Mrs. Andrews served her Country as a Registered Nurse at the Firestone Medical Center and the J.F. K. Maternity Center where she retired in 1985. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Ida, Lawrence (Eugenia), Irene, Hawa (Hugh), Mary, Leewelia (Gilbert), Nuwoe Priscilla (John), Kawyienee, Patricia Tenneh (Logan), Evans (Poor Boy) Leemu, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry S. Andrews, also a long-standing employee of the Firestone Company, her sons, Will Hillary Andrews, Julius M. Andrews and Pride M. Andrews.
