Evangeline Beatrice Barmadia

Psalm 90:10 - "Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away".

The George, Early, Oberly, and Barmadia families regret to announce the death of their matriarch, Evangeline Beatrice Barmadia.  This sad event occurred in the early hours of Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland.  "Ma Bea", as she was affectionately called, spent over 30 years as a healthcare provider, specifically as a nurse/mid-wife, in Liberia.

Ma Bea was married to Gbonima Sando Barmadia, Sr., who predeceased her in death.  She was also predeceased in death by three of her children, Lucretia Tdenkonti George Toeh, Augustus Oberly, and Jonathan Oberly.  She is survived by her children, Wilhelmetta Oberly (Joseph), Wilhelmina Oberly-Johnson (Alex), Gloria Barmadia Siakor-Sirleaf (Hilary), Johnetta Barmadia-Flomo (John), Edmund B. Barmadia (Lisa), Gbonima Sando Barmadia, Jr, Zobon Barmadia, Hawah Dukuly, and Musa Barmadia.
