The Bartie, Dunwoody and R. Fole Sherman families announce with deep regrets the home going of their beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Cousin, Mrs. Rose Wokie Sherman-Bartie. This sad event occurred on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 4:50 AM at the home of her daughter, Connie Bartie-Dunwoody of Marietta, GA.
Rose leaves to mourn her loss her son, Boimah Bartie, her daughter, Connie Bartie-Dunwoody, her daughter-in-law, Genneh Bartie, her son-in-law, Eddie Dunwoody, I; five grandchildren: Danielle Brown, Eddie Dunwoody, II, Fatima Dunwoody, Terrance Dunwoody and Darrell Bartie; twelve siblings: T. Siafa Sherman, Sr., Theresa Sherman-Pennoh, Anna N. Sherman, Victoria Sherman-Britt, Famatta Sherman-Mitchell, Joyce Sherman-Calhoun, Cianna Sherman-Wotorson, R. Fole Sherman, Jr. Cllr. H. Varney G. Sherman, S. Lao Sherman, Felicia Sherman-Boyce, Musu F. Sherman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Rose was a former employee of Ricks Institute, Virginia, Liberia.
