Mr. George Adrian Bolo, Sr.

The Bolo, Adams, and Flumo families regret to announce the sudden passing of their father, husband, and uncle, Mr. George Adrian Bolo, Sr. This sad event occurred on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at the Cooper's Clinic, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr. Bolo was born in Kpaye Karnwin, Yarpea Mahn, Nimba County, on March 10, 1949 onto the union of Qweenagbay Yayu Bolo and Kou Woepana Gualue Yanamah both of whom predeceased him.
Mr. Bolo attended Ecole Primaire de Diecke and College Court de N'Zerekore in the Republic of Guinea, Martha Tubman Elementary School and St. Mary's Catholic School in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, Liberia, and the University of Liberia where he obtained a B.S. degree in Economics in 1975.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mrs. Seretta Oretha Bolo; eleven children, Ternwon Michael Bolo, Tunde Maatia Bolo, Prince Guanquoi Bolo, George Adrian Bolo, Jr., Leanue Tokunbo Bolo, Georgette Angel Bolo, Torwon Sammy Bolo, Keapeh Bolo, Sei Kula George Bolo, Adrian Woepana Bolo, and Daah George Bolo; nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a host of relatives and friends in the USA, Liberia, and Guinea.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 23, 2006, in Monrovia and interment will take place in Gotonwin, Nimba County on November 25, 2006.

The St. Mary's Alumni family abroad mourns the loss of George Bolo, a member of the school's first graduating class (1971). He served as president of the St. Mary's Alumni Association for many years and provided financial support to students and St Mary's Alumni Sponsored Programs. He also served his country for many years as Director of the Social Security and Welfare Corporation and held other key positions in government. He passed away on Monday, November 6, 2006 after a brief illness. His passing is a great loss to the country and school. We extend our condolences to Dr. Marsilliu Flumo (Class of 77), cousin of the deceased, and other members of his family. May the soul of our dear alumnus, brother and friend rest in perfect peace.
