For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

It is with sorrowful and heavy hearts that we the Bryant, Dean, Williams, Kpoyour, Snyder, Walker, and the Providence Baptist Association families announce the passing in his 60th year from Life into Eternal Rest of Mr. Alexander Johnny Bryant. This exchange occurred at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC on Monday, September 28, 2015. “Bryant” “Zander” “AJ” “Alex” as he was affectional called, was born unto the union of Mr. Johnny Bryant and Mrs. Mama-G Zoegar Bryant, on March 2, 1955. Bryant worked with the Immigration and Naturalization Services of the Republic of Liberia. While living in the United States. He worked with Allied Barton Security Company.

Alex was married to Mrs. Celestine Dean Bryant and the union was blessed with one child Ms. Leah Bryant. He was later married the Mrs. Frederica Gbye Bryant who predeceased him. He leaves to mourn his loss, his daughter Leah; one grandson Caleb Lee Bryant; two brothers: Mr. Kwame Bryant and Mr. Paygai Bryant; one acquired brother, Pastor Joseph T. Walker; one sister Sue-Etta Bryant Williams; one acquired Sister Apostle Elspeth Walker, Cousins: Mr. Joseph Kpoyour, Mr. Antony Kpoyour, Mrs. Frances Bryant, Mrs. Martha Bryant, Mr. William L. Bryant, Rev. Cecelia Goffah Duoe, Mrs. Laura A. Wilson, Ms. Diana Snyder, Ms. Barbara Snyder, and Mr. Chris Snyder among others in Liberia and the United States. Bryant leaves to mourn his loss many longtime friends and confidants: Mr. Osborne Diggs and Mrs. Julia Diggs, Rev. Dr. Shadrack Minor, Mr. Jefferson Coleman, Mr. Varney Coleman, Dr. Albert White, and Rev. William Patray among others.

Funeral Services will be held in Durham NC on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Shepherd’s House Church on 107 N. Driver Street, Durham, NC 27703.
