came on the morning of Sunday August 16th, 2009,
in Manhattan, New York, when our heavenly father
called, the trumpets sounded, the gates opened
and the angels welcomed another daughter.
is with enduring love and thanksgiving that
the Cooper, Flama, Snelborough and Campbell
families announce the home going of Joy M. Cooper,
our daughter, niece, sister, aunt, cousin, and
M Cooper, daughter of the late James Edward
Cooper, Sr. and Reverend Mother Marie Madia
Cooper attended the Saint Theresa Convent and
was a 1976 graduate of the B.W. Harris Episcopal
High School, Liberia. Her pursuit for higher
education landed her at Jersey City State College
(BA 82 Education; MA 84 Administration
& Supervision), Jersey City, New Jersey.
Joy also graduated from the Manhattan Bible
Institute in 1997 and was ordained as a pastor
leaves to celebrate her life, her mother, Reverend
Mother Marie Madia Cooper, sisters, brothers,
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a grand niece
and a host of relatives.
