Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Roberts Howard Cooper
The Cooper, Howard, Richards, Roberts and King families with appreciation to the Lord for a full life announce the death of Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Roberts Howard Cooper, widow of Major General Emmett Walter Cooper, in her 99th year. This sad event occurred at her home in Coconut Plantation, Monrovia on Wednesday the 2nd of October 2013.
She is survived by her children: Yvonne Cooper Ferrari, Geraldine Cooper Pope and Matilda (Precious) Cooper Watlington; her brother the Hon. Joseph G. Richards, a host of other relatives; nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, etc.
The remains of the late Nancy Elizabeth Roberts Howard Cooper will be removed from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlor at Tubman Boulevard on Thursday October 17th at 9:00A.M. and taken to the Trinity Cathedral on Broad Street where funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M. October 17th 2013.
Thereafter the remains of the late Nancy Elizabeth Roberts Howard Cooper will be taken to the city of Clay-Ashland, Montserrado County for internment.
This announcement is made by the Hon. Joseph G. Richards, Matilda (Precious) Cooper Watlington, Hon. Olubanke King Akerele, Cllr. Seward Cooper and Walker Richards (brother, daughter, niece and nephews of the deceased) for the family.
