Toosie Nio Cooper
The Wills and Cooper families announces, with pronounced grief, the homegoing of their treasured mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend Toosie Nio Cooper, age 65 on July 20th, 2018. Ma Toosie, as she was affectionately known, was born to the union of Madam Kunah Chea Cooper and Honorable Cyrus Sohn Cooper. Our beautiful mother and sister grew up in Liberia and spent the last few decades of her life in Minnesota. She was a dedicated member of her church and she strongly embraced Jesus Christ. Ma Toosie enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially relished moments with her grand and great-grandchildren. Sadly, she had to leave us all so soon, but we take comfort that she is peacefully with our Lord. She is preceded in death by both her parents and 2 of her brothers, Charles and Soko.
We bid her farewell.
