Benjamin Thorgbo Davies

The Davies family sadly regrets to announce the death of our beloved brother Benjamin T. Davies. His death occurred on September 15, 2005 in Monrovia, Liberia.

Ben who was affectionately called "Thorgbo" was a graduate of Bishop Juwle High School, Class of 1976. He attended the A. M. Dogliotti College of Medicine University of Liberia. He worked for the National Police Force as Chief of Crime Lab for twenty-two years. He leaves to mourn his loss mother, Theresa M. Davies (Lanham, MD). His father, Samuel S. Davies Sr, predeceased him. One son, Gabriel Davies, Sisters and brothers: Victoria Davies-Greene, Ella Davies-Junius, Annie Davies-Wright, Eliza Davies (Mamiezoe), Samuel Sawieh Davies, Charlotte, Theresa, Emmanuel, Josephine, Bobby, Amelia, and Bill Davies, Brother-in-laws, Albert Junius, and Peter Bellah, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 30, 2005 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (10:00 am Local time) Camp Johnson Road, Monrovia.
Interment will follow at the Congo Town Cemetery Monrovia, Liberia.
