Mr. Nathaniel  Deor Davies

With a sadden heart, the Davies, Bohlen, Nyema, and Kollie families announce the sudden passing of their dearest father, husband, uncle, grandfather, Mr. Nathaniel  Deor Davies, who passed away on May 11, 2015 at 8:30a.m  at  the Francis Medical Center  in Trenton, New Jersey.  Mr. Davies is survived by his Loving wife of 40 years, Lucy Bohlen Davies, 4 children, Nettie Davies-Kollie( Francis Kollie), Nathaniel Davies Jr., of  the U.S, Alfred Davies and Toe Davies in Liberia, 1 foster daughter, Mary D. Bohlen ( Liberia ) 9 grandchildren, 1 sister, Lucille K. Davies (Ma Lou,) of Philadelphia, PA,  5 brothers;  Alex Davies, (Liberia),Thomas Davies (Providence, Rhode Island), Alphonso Davies (Charlotte, North Carolina) Peter Davies of(Chicago ,Illinois,)  Emmanuel Davies

(Minneapolis, Minnesota) his nephew Fred Nyema (Trenton, New Jersey) and a host of other relative and friends in the United Stated and Liberia. Mr. Nathaniel D.Davies, Sr. worked for the Special security Services of the Liberian Government for 49 Years, rising to several ranks such as director of the Special Security Services (SSS), training commandant at the Liberian National Police Training Academy, and the Liberian Immigration services. He was well respected by his fellow law enforcers during his tenure with the SSS and was affectionately known as “Double D”.  He continued his career as security personnel with several law enforcement agencies in the United States including Securitas. Mr. Davies was a devout Catholic, a founding member of Blessed Sacrament –Our Lady of Divine Shepherd commandery # 676 of the Knights of St. John International, where he served as trustee until his death.
