Dixon Koffa Daye

2 Timothy 4:7 – I (Koffa) have fought the good fight, I (Koffa) have finished the race, I (Koffa) have kept the faith. I leave you all my families and friends in peace, love and happiness (emphasis added).

It is with profound regret and substantial hearts that we the Daye and Johnson families pronounce the death of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and nephew, Mr. Dixon Koffa Daye.

This permanent loss happened on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Mr. Daye died of Heart Attack, while getting ready for work. Mr. Daye was the son of former Representative of the Borough of New Kru Town, Hon. Dixon Tumu Daye, II (Deceased) and Sarah Diane (Deceased) of Bong County.

Mr. Dixon Koffa Daye was a former resident of the Borough of New Kru Town on Bushrod Island, Liberia. He was a Graduate of Monrovia College (MC, a high school at the time) in Liberia, and also a Graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Daye was a renowned Culinary Professional and the former Proprietor of the famous Liberian Lone Star Restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Dixon Koffa Daye leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Jemima Johnson-Daye; his children: Dixon Tumu Daye, III, Jacqueline Juah Daye, Jasuna I Sambola; Grandchild Princess Fornatee Daye. He leaves to mourn 6 sisters: Esther Daye, Mamie Daye, Priscilla Juah Daye, Patience Daye, Kumba Frank and Joyce Kebbeh Frank; 2 brothers: Archie Tweh Daye and Matthew Frank; 2 foster brothers: Jackson Konah and Moses Toby; Forster Sister: Beatrice Gaye; 2 uncles: Nelson Daye and Myers Daye, and a host of other relatives in the USA, Canada, Europe, Romania and Africa. May the Soul of Dixon Koffa Daye rest in peace with the God of our fathers.
