Charles Garway Dennis, Sr. (Pa, Papa, Teacher Dennis, Grand Pop)

The Dennis family announces with sorrow the home going of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, friend, Charles Garway Dennis Sr. This sad event occurred on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Epoch of Melrose, Massachusetts after a brief illness. He was a 18 year employee of the Lamco JV Operating Company in Yekepa, Nimba County. Shortly after his retirement he worked as a chemistry instructor for the E. Jonathan Goodridge High school in Barnesville, Monrovia until he joined his family in the US in June 2003.

He was the Son of Magdalene Lucretia Dennis and William E. Dennis, Sr.
He is survived by his wife Annie Jebo Dennis, his children Mary Page Sator (John), Agnes Tefleh Young (Herman), Dominic Dennis, Mamunie Dennis, Charles Dennis, Jr., and Sayonnoh Nunu Clark (Mark). His Siblings: Elizabeth Zeway, Doris Dennis Barbel (Charles), Rae Dennis Wiles (deceased), William E. Dennis, Jr. (Eugenia), Hilary A. Dennis, Sr. (Elizabeth), V. Marbue Dennis, Sr. (Janet), Sadia L. Dennis Sawyer, C. Louise Dennis Brown (Allen), Gloria V. Dennis, F. Ford Dennis, Sr. (Algina), Robert H. Dennis, II (Nilda), Rose Marie Dennis and J. Emery Dennis,
Sister- in-law C. Honey Dennis (Samford). Fourteen grandchildren Pernell Harrigan, Imam Young, Mercy Dennis, Dominique Dennis, Charlene Wright, Chanda Charles Dennis, Derek Dennis, Ebonie Aghahowa, Robert Dennis, Charles G. Dennis, III, Monah Clark, Anna Clark, Fabrice Clark, Mai Maggie Clark. Nephew Jamaal Camah, Satchel Dennis, Darrell Dennis, Prince Dennis. Two great grand children, Delta Harrigan and Anthony Demilio and a host of other relatives and friends.

His Daughter Magdalene "Maggie" Lucretia Dennis predeceased him in 2004.
