Joseph "Kpah" Dougan
December 22, 1960 - May 2, 2016

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.  For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”-- 2 Corinthian 5: 6-8

In loving memory and in thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Dougan, Wesseh, Johnson, Allen, and Mossburg families will like to announce the sudden home going of our beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend Joseph "Kpah" Dougan. Kpah was found unresponsive at his resident in Paynesville. He was taken to the ELWA Hospital in Monrovia and later transitioned the morning of May 2, 2016.

Kpah was a family oriented person. He had a loving, kind, and caring personality. Throughout his life, he made many friends.
Kpah was predeceased by his parents Joseph L. C. Dougan and Elizabeth Johnson-Dougan. He leaves to mourn his wife for 21 years Caroline and four children: Mydea Elizabeth, Josephine Dougan-Luogon (Torwon), Isaac, and Willimina; Siblings: Catherine Johnson, Mydea Dougan-Smith (Kenneth), Christopher Madison Jr. (Shelsea), and Trokon Dougan (Rhoda). Other survivors include his grandchildren (Noel-Joy Dougan, Torwon Luogon Jr., and Titus Luogon); Nieces and Nephews (Leemu Madison, Ayanna Madison, Aquavee Madison, Agbeyenu Madison, Aicha "Peaches" Dougan, Kyana Dougan, and Tori Dougan, Steven levi Fleming, Sharon Fleming, and Selene Fleming; Cousins (Anistine Mossburg, Mydear Allen, Dyue Allen, Debah Allen, Hawah Ruth Roberts (Ambrose), Harry Johnson, etc.), host of other relatives and beloved friends across Africa, United States, Europe, and around the world.

May the winds of Heaven blow softly and whisper in your ears how much we loved and missed Kpah. Good Night our beloved. Sleep in peace.
