Gordon Acker Duncan

Gordon Acker Duncan, born June 26, 1950, died June 22, 2013 at 2:30pm in Monrovia after a brief illness.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard J.B. and Anna Freeman Duncan; and also by his step mothers Mrs. Maude Blake Duncan and Mrs. Louise Gaines Duncan.

He leaves to mourn his death Mrs. Johnette Houston (Minnesota) a caring motherly woman who took care of him as a young boy.

He is also survived by his Ex-wife Mrs. Dazeline Mason Duncan of Atlanta, Two Daughters, Princess Duncan Mason and Matu Duncan; a son Leon Duncan of Monrovia; his sisters Isabella Duncan, Aurora Duncan Moore, Mai Julia Duncan Ward (Nahor), Thelma E. Duncan Sawyer (Amos), Ellen Duncan, Musu Duncan Crabbe (Ernest), Elizabeth Duncan Dickerson, Nancy Doris Duncan, Rose Duncan Vezele (Momo), and others.

His brothers George W. Duncan (Rhode Island), Richard, Dossen, Nixon and Joseph Duncan; Four Grandsons and a Granddaughter; Four Aunties Mrs. Annie Burgess Sancho, Mrs. Doris D. Grimes, Mrs. Magdalene Duncan Witherspoon and Mrs. Nancy Duncan Keller. A host of other relatives including Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Wake keeping will be held at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Paynesville, Liberia on July 19, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

The Funeral Service will be on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 10:00am at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
