Mai Kou Dawoyea Harris-Elliott
July 21st, 1959 – October 15th, 2018
‘I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121: 1-2
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Mai K. Elliott announces her peaceful transition from labor to reward. This sad event occurred on the early morning of October 15th 2018, at Merwick Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro NJ. Mai leaves to mourn her loss: four children, Gardea Elliott, Elvira Elliott, Dekontee Elliott and Brittany Elliott, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grand daughter, several sisters and brothers in the USA and Liberia including Seybold Dawoyea, Steve Dawoyea, Martha Dawoyea-Gbeintor, and Kou-Cee Wonokay of Trenton NJ, along with a host of family and special friends.
She will truly be missed and forever in our hearts!
Turning Point United Methodist Church located at 15 South Broad St, Trenton NJ 08608 will host the wake keeping Friday November 2nd, 2018 at 7pm and the funeral service Saturday November 3rd, 2018 at 9am. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Service.
