Mrs. Beatrice Gono Ezeagu

With feelings of profound sorrow, we announce the home-going of Mrs. Beatrice Gono Ezeagu, affectionately known as Ms. Bea.

She was brought into the world on January 1, 1935 in Sanniquelle, Nimba County, Liberia, to the union of George and Lehla Gono. She returned to glory on August 18, 2015, after a brief struggle with complicated medical issues, at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA.
Ms. Bea, a highly skilled seamstress and home-maker, belonged to the body of believers in Christ. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, foster-mother and so much more to so many people. She leaves a large community of family and friends in Liberia, Nigeria and the United States. She touched many lives and will be remembered fondly from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania to Buzzi Quarters, Monrovia. She was a devoted care-taker who gave over 80-years of joy and happiness to her friends and family.

Ms. Bea is blessed to be survived by her 9 children: Prince Ezeagu (Oscar), Priscilla Kau, Naomi Ezeagu (Fufu), Omar Ezeagu (Othello), Georgia Ross (Mamie), Fatima Ezeagu, Christiana Bennah (Babysister), Catherine Williams, and Shadrack Gono; 12 grandchildren: Lorenzo, Nina, Stephen, Diamond, Gerald, Sanura, Beatrice, Benstina, Zor, Hafsa, Sahara, and Abdul-Aziz; 3 great-grandchildren Prishad, Sia, and Sky; Step-daughter/grandchildren: Mildred Ezeagu, Miatta Kiawu, Charles Kiawu; Foster-children: Benjamin Urey, Rev.
