Gblohtay Farngalo
The
Farngalo and Collingwood families with profound regrets announce
the death of their loved one, George Gblohtay Farngalo in
his 56th year. This mournful event occurred on Sunday, April
6th at the St. Joseph's Catholic Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia,
Liberia. George is a graduate of the Archbishop Francis Carroll
High School and the University of Liberia, where he was an
active member of the University's chorus. George will be indelibly
missed as an agent of care and relief by the many he served
in his capacity as coordinator and director of CARITAS, a
Catholic relief agency serving the Bong and Nimba regions.
Many who sought refuge in Danane, Ivory Coast during the height
of the civil conflict were direct recipients of George's humanitarianism
as he executed his CARITAS duties. Prior to his lengthy tenure
with CARITAS, George served as Director of Training at Cooperative
Development Agency.

to mourn this great loss is his mother, Luopu (Mary) Farngalo,
his son, Gondah, his siblings, Bernard, Renee, Gregory, Judy,

father, Ambassador Gabriel G. Farngalo, his brother, Gabriel
Jr., his sister Kpolay, his adopted parents, Rose and James
