Deacon Burle J. L. Fleming

The death in his ninetieth year is announced of Deacon Burle J. L. Fleming of Fortesville, Grand Bassa County.

This sad event occurred during the early hours of Wednesday 8 September 2010 at the ELWA Road-SKD Stadium Community residence, Paynesville.

He is survived by several children, siblings Daniel Fleming, Rev. T. Whitcomb Riley Fleming, T. Alexander Fleming, Charlesetta Fleming, several nieces, nephews, cousins Augusta Cassell, Capt. Prince Page, and hosts of relatives and friends of Liberia and the U.S.A.

Meanwhile, funeral arrangements are as follow:

  • Body will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home on Saturday, 2 October 2010 at 9 o’clock a.m. and conveyed to Fortesville, St. John River, Grand Bassa County.

  • Funeral services will be held at the Union Baptist Church, Fortesville from 11 o’clock a.m.

  • Burial follows immediately thereafter at the family plot in Fortesville.
