G. Gediminar Flomo FUNERAL SERVICE ANNOUCEMENT
SUN RISE: DECEMBER 12, 1960 - SUN SET: APRIL 2, 2017
The Flomo family wishes to acknowledge and extend thanks and appreciation to friends and sympathizers for their financial and moral supports as well as their statements of sympathy and condolences expressed since G. Gediminar Flomo departed our world to join our father. Also, the family acknowledges the prayers offered as well as the moral support and financial contributions friends donated to Mr. Flomo during his thirteen years visit in the U.S. while he received medical assistance from different clinics and hospitals within Philadelphia, U.S.A.
The sad event occurred at 9:28 A.M. on Sunday April 2, 2017 at the Albert Einstein Medical Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He leaves to mourn his loss by his dearest wife, Tawah Blama Flomo, three children, two grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews, and a host of others relatives and friends in the United States, Europe, and Africa. Families and friends were by his bed side at the time the sorrowful call came to him to join his Father, the Almighty God in Heaven. His father, mother, uncles, and aunties predeceased him.
The deceased, who was seven months short of his 57-birthday celebration, was born on December 12, 1960 unto Joseph Nyenlengo Flomo and Madam Sonnie Selma-day Flomo. He graduated in 1981 from the Voinjama Multilateral High in the City of Voinjama, Lofa County, and topped the National Examination administered yearly by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Liberia. In 1982, he enrolled at the University of Liberia, where he completed his studies in Public Administration and minor in political science and was awarded Cum Laude.
Family members, friends, and associates will surely miss Mr. Flomo, but are determined to promote and share his legacy. The memories of his love, scholarly discussion, and rich and analytical abilities will always be with us all. Therefore, while we mourn his loss, the family invites everyone to join the bereaved family and friends at home and abroad to joyfully celebrate his departure and entry into Heaven. As a devoted Jehovah Witness, he did labor to secure his rightful place in Heaven.
