It
is with profound regrets that the Freeman,
Sherman, and Smith families announce the
sudden death of Mr. Joseph G. Freeman.
This sad event took place on Friday, October
6, 2006, at 6:08 pm at the University
Hospital in Newark, NJ.
He
leaves to mourn his passing, his wife
of nearly 24 years- Sophia Freeman, his
three children- Loliah, Kathleen and Emmanuel.
His mother, Mrs. Martha Sherman. His brothers-
Charles, Henry, Wilson, and Erandell Freeman;
Arthur and Roger Sherman; Sisters- Mary,
Esther and Cecelia Freeman, Avril Caesar.
Nephew- Stephen Freeman; A host of other
nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law,
a brother-in-law any many others of both
the United States and Liberia.
Viewing
will take place on Friday, October 27,
2006 at the Cotton Funeral Parlor- 1025
Bergen Street, Newark, NJ from 3 -5 pm.
Wake keeping will be held at the Hopewell
Baptist Church on 17 Muhammad Ali Ave,
Newark, NJ 07108, from 7-11pm
Funeral
services will be held on Saturday, October
28, 2006, from 8 -11 am at Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Church, 103 South Center Street
in Orange, NJ. Immediately following the
funeral services, the interment will take
place at the Rosedale Cemetery 367 Washington
Street, Orange, NJ. Re-pass will be announced
during the church service.
