Momolu Colden Gardiner

This is to announce the sad and untimely home going of our beloved, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and relative, Momolu Colden Gardiner.

This sad event occurred on 08/20/07 at 3:55pm, at the Firestone Hospital in Liberia.

"Wicked Lu" as he was affectionately called, was the son of Rachel A. Wilson Gardiner and S. Faikai Gardiner, both of whom predeceased him.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracee Gardiner, step mother, Melita Gardiner, 15 siblings (S. Faikai Jr., Cecelia Gardiner, Murvee Dashward Gardiner, Richard K. Gardiner, Margaret Gardiner Cooper, George T. Gardiner, Lloyd Ashford Gardiner, Rachel Gardiner Cummings, Ivan K. Gardiner, Wyanie Gardiner, Shadrack Gardiner, Danielette Gardiner, Kaifai Gardiner, Hilary Gardiner and Melia Gardiner) his aunts, Margaret Wilson Mirin, Sarah E. Wilson, Adeline Wilson Hedd-Williams, Katherine Wilson, Juanita Wilson and Frances Wilson Hoff, Gwendolyn Gooding Wilson, Lucinda Cooper Gardiner, one Grand Aunt, Henrietta Brewer, as well as the Gardiner, Wilson, Brewer, Tubman, Neal and Deshield families of Liberia, United States and Europe.

The funeral service will be held at The Stryker Funeral Parlor in Monrovia, Liberia at 11:30am on September 8, 2007. Internment follows thereafter at the Duport Road Cemetery.

May his soul rest in peace, and light perpetual shine upon him.
