It is with sadness that the family announces the death Cllr. Elijah J. Garnett, Sr. who died on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia.

The body of the late Cllr. Elijah J. Garnett, Sr. will be removed from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlors on Friday, May 25th at 5:00 P.M. and taken to the Zion praise Baptist Church, Bentol city, Montserrado county for one night of wake-keeping, at 9:00 P.M. Funeral service is scheduled on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the same venue.

The late Cllr. Elijah J. Garnett, Sr. is survived by four children:

Mr. Rufus McDonald Garnett, Sr. of the Ministry of Finance;
Mrs. Eliva Jeredine Goll of the United State of America
Mrs. Lydia Mai Sherman of LIBERCELL Communication; and
Mr. Elijah J Garnett, Jr. of the United State of America

Eight sisters, two brothers, seven grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews, foster children and a host of relatives and friends
