Deacon Moses S. Gblah
The Gblah and the Wesseh Families regret to announce the Home-Going of Chief, Deacon Moses S. Gblah of SayeTown, Monrovia, Liberia. The sad event took place on December 25, 2014 after an injury at his residence. The deceased served his country in many capacities in Liberia. In Greenville, Sinoe County, he served as Town Crier for Sarpo ethnic Group. Later he served as Clan Chief for his people in Greenville, Sinoe County. Religiously, he was a member and deacon of the Sarpy Baptist Church during pastoral ship of Rev. Thomas Chewed. After the Civil War, he settled in Monrovia where he became a member of Second Providence Baptist Church and continued to serve as Deacon till his death.
Deacon Moses S. Gblah leaves to mourn his death, his wife Mrs. Frances Gblah (Monrovia, Liberia), Three Children: Mr. Mitchell Gblah of (St. Louis Missouri), Samson Gblah (Monrovia, Liberia), Mrs. Rachel Gblah-Wesseh, (Philadelphia, PA. USA). Son-in-law Larry Friday Wesseh, (Philadelphia, PA. USA), One Brother: Rev. John C. Gblah, (Philadelphia, PA. USA), 15 Grand Children, 2 Great Grand Children, Nephews, Nieces and a host of other relatives.
