Elizabeth Gbalee Gbour
The Bartee, Gbour, Saytarkon and Kiadii families announce the passing, in her 83rd year, of Elizabeth Gbalee Gbour. She lived in the Liberian community of Trenton, NJ nearly her entire stay in the United States up to a brief stay in Georgia where she passed away in the presence of her daughter, Doris Bartee Pour. Liberians in the Trenton and some adjacent areas remember her affectionately as "Mammy karla" in respect of her delicious Liberian styled donut snack. This sad and mournful event occurred at Gwinnett Medical Center, Duluth Branch near Atlanta, Georgia on May 8, 2012. Her remains were since taken to Trenton, NJ for memorial services before final burial in Liberia.
She is survived by daughters, Doris and Annie Bartee in the United States; sons, Ezekiel and Lawrence Bartee in Liberia; nephew, Nathaniel Tuopaeh also in the United States; Daniel Songbeh of Trenton, New Jersey; a host of relatives, friends and well wishers in the United States and Liberia.
Services commemorating the life and love of Elizabeth Gbalee Gbour are as follows:
Friday, June 8, 2012: Wake keeping at the African United Methodist Church (aka, Rev. Gueh's Church), 1201 Greenwood Avenue, Trenton, NJ from 9pm to 12am;
Saturday, June 9, 2012: Farewell memorial also at the same church and venue. This service starts promptly at 9am.
Repast to follow at: First Baptist Church of Trenton

Dates and times will be available later.
With the exception of Church, Select Organizations, and Family, all other tributes will be made on Friday, June 8, 2012.
