 OBITURARY
OF ISRAEL W. GIBSON
With sadden hearts, the Gibson, Bruce and Baker families announces
the sudden passing of their love one and baby brother, Israel Wada
Gibson affectionately known as Sugarlump, this sad event occurred
at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia Liberia, West
Africa on Tuesday, September 18, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his father General Leroy A. Gibson Sr.,
his mother Isabella Bruce Gibson, three siblings Leroy A. Gibson
Jr., Esther I. Gibson and Baccus Gibson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his children, Shawn Gibson,
Isabella Gibson, Mitchell Gibson, Leroy Gibson and Esther Gibson.
His siblings Wade Gibson Koslea (Jeff), Julia L. Gibson Thompson
(Steven), Lerine Gibson Brandy (Othello), Mathu H. Gibson (Annette),
William Tye Gibson (Tawana), Senora Gibson, Ethel Bishop (Hilary),
Leona Gibson, Velma L. Gibson Jones (Joel) and foster sister, Elizabeth
Kennedy.
He also leaves to cherish his memories many nieces, nephews, cousins,
a special uncle and aunt who step up to the plate when his mother
died Mr. and Mrs. William Bruce. Very special uncles; Robert H.
Gibson Sr., Moses Bruce, Kwakue Bruce, several aunts including;
Ellen Bruce Leak, Gloria Bruce Thomas, Mary Gibson Pearson, Ayele
Ajavon Cox, Dr. & Mrs. Melvin Mason, a very special sister-in-law,
Geraldine Gibson, the love of his life Kolu Moifolley, Kolu’s
mother, her siblings and many, many friends.
May his soul rest in peace and may God’s blessings continue
to shine on his children, siblings and fiancée who will miss
him very dearly.
His siblings would like to thank the Moifolley family for the love
they shared with our brother over the years. Wake keeping and funeral
services for Israel Wada Gibson will be held as follows:

p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Liberia Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at: 10:00 a.m.
