The Gongar, Pearson, and Davies families announce with profound regrets the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin Mr. D. Erasmus Gongar, Director of Planning Policy and Projects at the Ministry of Transport, Monrovia, Liberia. This sad event took place at home, Sunday, January 1st, 2017 at 7:00 am.
Erasmus leaves to mourn his loss his darling wife, Cynthia N. Gongar, twelve children, five grand children, five brothers, ten sisters and a host of relatives and friends, including Joseph Gongar of Liberia and Markine Gongar-Freeman of the United States of America.
During our period of bereavement, we continue to be consoled and comforted by the countless phone calls and other acts of generosity by friends, family and love ones. Many of you have expressed your sympathy and want to take part in the funeral service; accordingly, we are pleased to announce the funeral plans as follows:
Viewing will be held at the Stryker Funeral Home at 8:00 am, Saturday January 21st, 2017. Funeral service will take place at the A. P. Camphor United Methodist Church in Clara Town, Bushrod Island starting at 10:00 am.
