Celebrating the legacy of Mrs. Watchie Kormah Gray

Sunrise June 17,1930 Sunset March 26, 2019

“A crown you have earned and everlasting life
A reward to you...For such a wonderful life”
I just can’t believe how great I feel.
There is no more pain. I am no longer ill.
To my friends, my family and those who loved me... Do not be sad, for happy I will be.
So no more crying, for I have made it home...
With Jesus in heaven, right where I belong. Together again we will soon be
When you come home to Heaven, right where I belong. Together again we will soon be
When you come home to Heaven...To your Father and Me. I’ll be waiting at Heaven’s gate
I will be up front...The one chanting your name. Until that time, be happy for me.
Live you life for God. The way I taught you to be. When you look to the heavens, know that’s where I’ll be Dancing for the lord...For all of eternity.
Glory to God! To his house he has guided me.
Gory to God! He has set me free!

I’M FREE

Don’t greive for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his had when I heard him call.
I turned around and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found the peace on a sunny day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remebered joys.
A family shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burned with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now: He set me free. ~Unknown~
