The Hall & Toliver Families announce with profound regrets the passing of Mrs. Anna Cecelia Hall -affectionately known as Nannie.
Nannie, the last surviving child of her deceased Parents Macon S. Hall Sr. & Joetta Toliver-Hall, went to join her Parents & Siblings: Macon S. Hall Jr., Joetta Hall-Greaves, Ella Rosetta Hall and Hannah Hall-Donaldson, Olive Hall-Dennis & her 2 Daughters: Lafayetta Harmon-Ballyntine and Seabronetta Hall-Reese on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 4:38p.m.
A soft-spoken, beautiful, devout Christian, Nannie was very active in the Church until her stroke on September 11th, 2001. For over 30 years, she served the Government of Liberia, honorably, as Cashier of Customs at the Freeport of Monrovia & in various capacities at the Ministry of Finance & was later recognized with a building annex carrying a plague which still bears her name.
Nannie leaves to mourn her loss 3 Children: Clora (Coco) E. Johnson, McKinley (Mac) G. Johnson (Georgette) & Silda Richards-Knowlden (Winston); 5 Granddaughters: Kim Capehart-Mezue, Rochelle Knowlden, Luan Knowlden-Burkholder (Eric), Kenisha Ballyntine & Jennifer Knowlden; Grandson: Alexander Hall-Johnson; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Kenechuka Mezue, Skylah Charlton, Madison Charlton, Kyla Marie Thomas & Kaleb Thomas.
Foster Son: Godfrey Richards (Martha); Nieces: Reasanne Hall, Maconetta Hall, Marcia Greaves-Shaw, Jarsea Burphy, and Gina Donaldson, Jennifer Banks, Marlene Dennis, Cynthia Dennis ; Nephews: Seabron Hall, Clarence Morgan (Harriet), Leroy Hall-Donaldson and Robert Donaldson, Jr, Taran Curry, Mike Dennis, Abraham Dennis; Cousins too numerous to mention, but some of which are: Etmira Tamba, Annie Neal, Reverend Samuel Reeves, Ella Reeves, Renee Reeves-Warsaw, Catherine Murcolor, Gustav Barnard, Marietta Reeves-Gibson, Enid Benson, Makrah Hall-Boyce; Cousin/Brother Edward Hall & a host of Relatives & Friends.
The Wake and Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at:
