Mrs. Irma Crecencia Richardson Glover

The Glover and Richardson families are saddened to announce the sudden death of their wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and aunt, Mrs.­ Irma Crecencia Richardson Glover on July 14, 2012. She was affectionately known as Mommy, Grandma, Aunty Irma, or Mother Glover. This sad event occurred as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident in which she was a pedestrian.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Mr. Samuel D. Glover, Sr., her children, stepchildren and foster children: Hannah Glover, Sam Glover (Paulette), Mireille Glover-Doe (Gerald), Chester Glover, Betty Glover, Mulbah Nupolu, Alphonso Bush Richardson, and Beverly Omejia (Barnabas), grandchildren (Anike, Toyin, Marissa, Jonathan, Joseph, Gerald Jr, Jerica, Churchill, Taurus, Bervelyn, Berlyn, Barnabas Jr, and great grand children Jada, Nasir, and Jayvon . Also mourning her loss are her brothers Quirino Richardson & Fritz Richardson, her sisters Martha Moros and Rita Kuif.

Irma Crecencia Richardson was born to the union of Elton Luther Richardson and Frances Elisabeth Richards in Curaçao, an island of the Netherlands Antilles. She grew up in Aruba, and, after graduating from high school, she went on to Holland to train as a nurse, where she met and married Samuel Glover, Sr. who was studying at one of the Institutes of the Delft University. After graduation she accompanied him to Liberia where she lived and worked until the outset of the war.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Idalia and Burnette, and her brothers Eustus and Prince, all of the Netherlands, Antilles.

Mrs. Glover is also survived by many nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends in Liberia, USA, Europe and Curaçao.
