Zoe Vannah-Johnson

The Johnson, Gaye and Vannah families announce with profound sadness, the home going of their mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, Zoe Vannah-Johnson. This sad event occurred on April 12, 2006 at 10:15 a.m. at the Memorial-Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.

She is survived by her sons: Borbor Gaye, George Johnson, Emmanuel Johnson, Franklin Johnson & Jerome (Jerry) Johnson who predeceased her. Daughters: Clara Johnson-Hall & Lydia D. Johnson; Brother: Foday Vannah Sisters: Evangeline D. Vannah, Zoe Swary, Massa Yagba Vannah-Kromah & Miata Vannah; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will take place on Saturday April 29, 2006 in the Chapel of the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home located at 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079 starting at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.---Telephone contact # (281) 497-2210.

Her remains will be sent to Liberia on May 3, 2006 where funeral services will take place on May 6, 2006 at the Owensgrove Methodist Church and followed by interment at the Owensgrove Cemetery in Grand Bassa County.
