Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love HIM, who have been called, according to HIS purpose.

The Chieh, Johnson, Clement-Agbodjan, Jappah, Snyder, and Davies families regret to announce the homegoing of our dearly beloved, cherished and exemplary daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and cousin: Dorothy Doryen Modupe Chieh-Johnson.  She went back to be with the LORD on January 22, 2018 after a protracted period of illness.

She leaves to mourn her early departure, her 3 sons: Marvin D. Johnson (Sarah), Benjamin K. Johnson, Jr., and Arnold Johnson; also, her father, Ambassador D. Dueh Chieh Sr.; her brothers: David D. Chieh, Jr. (Anita), Patrick Nyinprun Chieh (Elizabeth), Christopher Tugbeh Chieh (Olivia), Nehemiah W. Chieh (Yassah), and sister, Antoinette Welleh Chieh.  She also leaves to mourn her loss, several nephews and nieces, including Lafayette M. Chieh (Manushka), Lumiere D. Chieh, David Dueh Chieh III, Comfort Putu Chieh, Clement Chieh (Victoria), Augusta Chieh, Patrick N. Chieh Jr., Patricia Chieh, Andrew Nkole, Ann Nkole, Nelson Chieh, and Neesa Chieh; and, her grandnieces: Olivia Chieh, Isabelle Chieh and her grandnephew, Elijah Chieh.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mrs. Comfort K. Chieh, and her husband, Mr. Benjamin K. Johnson, Sr., former Professor of Public Administration at the University of Liberia.
She will be sorely missed by countless relatives, friends, colleagues and students of the University of Liberia Demographic Unit, the University of Jos Sociology Department in Nigeria, the Philadelphia Central Church in Monrovia, and many other friends and relatives in Liberia, Togo, Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the USA.
We have lost an angel!
