Florence A. Kamara

Sunrise June 19, 1949

Sunset January 24, 2013

Little did we know on that fateful morning that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day god called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

The Kamara, Rennie, and Mensah families announce with deep regrets the home-going of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend Florence Amba Rennie Kamara. This sad event occurred on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, Monrovia, Liberia.

She is survived by her beloved husband and the love of her life: Massaquoi Morlu Kamara, Sir. , CHILDREN:  Varbah Grispy (Owen); Mallay M. Kamara; Roberts S. Kamara; Duyan S. Wilson; Yanquoi Flumoku; and Maron Weefur. BROTHERS: Emmette Fiawoo (Irene); Augustine Zinnah Gayamee (Julia); William Rennie, Jr., Samuel Rennie; and Emmanuel Rennie. SISTERS: Martha Rennie Taylor; Mary Rennie Balayan; and Frances Rennie Lomax.  Her AUNT:  Christina Mensah Badio (Samuel). FOSTER CHILDREN: Melvin G. Samuka; Charles Morlu Monyonku; and Chris Balayan. (Her Parents, Williams Rennie, Sir. and Janet G. Mensah and her son Massaquoi Morlu Kamara, Jr. predeceased her.) And a host of relatives, grandchildren, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers- in- law and many life- long friends both in Liberia and the United States of America. We thank God for giving us Florence Kamara and for those many beautiful and memorable years that we shared with her.
