Kona Joudeh Kamara
The Kamara's, Massquoi, Fahnbulleh, Davies, and the Sonii's announce with great saddest the departure and home bound of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, niece, grandmother, great grandmother and matriarch Kona Joudeh Kamara on Saturday August 8th 2015 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Momokai Kamara and Bendu Kamara from Bandor Tewor District Grand Cape Mount County Liberia.
Makona as she was affectionately known by all was a devoted Muslim who adhered to all the teaching of the Koran and was planning to make the pilgrimage to Mecca when her illness struck. She was strong and innovate business woman in Monrovia..
Mourning the passing of Makona are her children Prince Massaquoi, Emmanuel Massaquoi, Cynthia S.M Walker, Momokai Fahnbulleh,,Bindu (Sayor)Davies Maima Mofoilley, ,Jabaru (Famata) Fahnbulleh; Adama (Nina) Fahnbulleh and Momo Fahnbulleh.. In addition to her immediate family, she will greatly be missed by all her extended family, friends, and the mothers and kids she baby sat both here in the United States and back in Liberia.
Prayer service (40 day feast) will be held in the United States on September 19th at 7pm central time at Hopes Place, see address below; a 2nd feast will be held in Liberia early next year at a time and date to be determine.
