BROTHER JOSEPH KESSEH KARDIO

SUNRISE: MARCH 15, 1945 SUNSET: JULY 17, 2010

The Kardio and Cooper Family regret to announce the home-going of Brother Joseph Kesseh Kardio, their husband, father, grand-father, bother, uncle, cousin and friend.
This sad event took place on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey, U.S.A.

The late Joseph Kesseh Kardio was born on March 15, 1945 in Webbo District, Eastern Province (now renamed River Gee County, Liberia, West Africa). He was born unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Martha Tarkuo Dickerson-Kardio (both parents pre-deceased him).

Brother Kardio was very selfless, loving, compassionate, and a community builder. His work includes organizing the first Toubo Youth Group and the Webbo Youth Association. He helped formed the Liberian Students Association of New Jersey, now known as the Liberian Community Association of North Jersey (LCANJ), The Liberian Christian Fellowship Church (LCFC) in Newark, New Jersey, and the King Sao Bosso Lodge #92 of New Jersey.

Brother Kardio, a quiet and peaceful man, leaves to mourn his loss: Mrs. Rose Kardio, his devoted wife of twenty six unbroken years; his children Alexander (pre-deceased), Marie, Mary, Elizabeth, Ralph, Sebastine, Annie; two brothers, Mr. Sam Kardio and Rev. Nathaniel Cooper of East Orange, New Jersey; sister-in-law Mrs. Juanita Cooper, nephew Peter Kardio, many adopted children and grand children, and several nieces, cousins, friends, and a host of other relatives.

FAREWELL BROTHER KARDIO
