Levi Wlah Keah

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that the Keah & Wallace families announce the home-going of our beloved Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Father, Husband and dear friend, Levi Wlah Keah in his 58th  year.  Wlah shuffled off this mortal coil and saw the face of his Lord and Savior on March 30th, 2017, surrounded by the loving care of his nieces and his wife at the JJ Dossen Hospital in Harper, Maryland County, Liberia. He leaves to mourn his wife Sophia Glohnoh Keah, his children: Harrison Keah and Nylantee Keah, his sisters: Agnes Mona Keah, Henrietta Keah, Comfort Keah Itoka (Harry) and Cynthia Doyen. Several nieces including Angelina Sayeh Topor, Peggy Dundas (Charles), Harriett Itoka, Luo Keah, Domouyloh Keah; several nephews including Wellington Keah jr, Salekri Sayeh (Keaba), Christopher Sayer (Sophie), Seeyee Clarke, Ranek Itoka, and a host of other relatives in Liberia and the USA.
Levi was a loving father, a Christian, quiet and easy going. He strived in this life to help others, care for his family and serve his God. He served as a Clerk of Court in the Judicial System of Liberia, assigned in the Atlantic City of Garraway, Grand Kru County. We will always love and miss you! We will miss your phone calls, always reaching out to see how everyone is doing. May you rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon you. Levi Wlah Keah was preceded in death by his parents, James Blamo Keah Snr, and Flocena Guahnor Wallace, and stepmothers Helena Nylahdy Quire, Mrs. Sarah Keah, his brothers Edward Keah, S. Wellington Keah Snr, and James Blamo Keah Jr; his sisters Dolly Keah and Suoday Keah.

Levi was born in Garraway, in what was then Lower Kru Coast territory, Maryland County, now Grand Kru County. He attended and graduated from the Garraway Public school.  He was a member of the Anna E. Hall United Methodist Church.
