Mrs. Juanita E. Summerville Kemoh

The Kemoh, Summerville and Reeves families announce with deep regrets the death of Mrs. Juanita E. Summerville Kemoh, formally known as JK, Tete-Y, Aunty Y, YY and Aunt YY.

This sad event occurred at the St. Vincent Hospital, Staten Island, New York on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at approximately 5 am. Mrs. Kemoh leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Mr. Albert Q. W. Kemoh, her children, Alnita Gorlohn Kemoh, Albertine Nyelle Kemoh, Alvina Nawhe Kemoh and Alvin Kemoh, her siblings, Alcmenia Summerville Dunbar, Chalnecia Summerville Davies, John F. Summerville and Melvin A. R. Summerville, one aunt Augusta Reeves Snyder, one Uncle Samuel F. Summerville, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Juanita E. Summerville Kemoh are as follow:

Wake keeping will be held at the Staten Island Seventh Day Adventist Church, 80 Union Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10303, on Thursday, April 21, 2005 from 7pm to 12 am.

Funeral ceremonies will be held at the same church on Friday, April 22, 2005 from 9am to 11am.

She will be interred with her mother, Mrs. Etta A. Reeves Summerville, at the Frederick Douglass Cemetery, 3201 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10306.

From New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland Directions:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike, exit 13 for Goethals Bridge. Take the Staten Island Expressway 278 East and make a quick exit at the Forest Avenue exit. Come down the service road and make a left on Forest Avenue. Go pass Lowe's and come to Union Avenue and make a left. The church will be on your left on Union Avenue. Your land mark for Union Avenue is the Waldbaums Plaza on Forest Avenue.

From Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and parts thereof:
After you cross the Verrazano Bridge, take 278 West and come to Bayonne Bridge (exit 9) on the Staten Island Expressway. It will put you on the Martin Luther King Expressway. Exit at Forest Avenue. Come on the service road and make a left on Forest Avenue. Make a right on Union Avenue. Your landmark is the Waldbaums Plaza on your left.

Directions from church to cemetery:
Start at 80 Union Avenue going toward Forest Avenue; make a left on Forest Avenue. Turn right on Willow Road West. Take the left ramp onto Route 440 South toward Staten Island Expressway. Take 278 exit toward Verrazano Bridge. Take exit 12 toward Slosson Avenue/Todt Hill Road. Turn right on Slosson Avenue. Slosson Avenue becomes Todt Hill Road. Continue on Todt Hill Road. Bear right on Richmond Road. Bear left on Amboy Road. Arrive at 3201 Amboy Road.
