The Home Going of  Mrs. Rose Ciatta George-Kemokai
                  Sun Rise: August 27, 1928, Sun Set: October 23, 2014

   This is to announce the passing of Mrs. Rose Ciatta George-Kemokai, the daughter of the late Mr. Harry Kiawu George and Madam Weyah Kroma. Mrs. Rose Ciatta George- Kemokai was a prominent member of the families of the Kemokai, George, Kroma and the Kiawu.  “Ciettu”,  as she was affectionally known by many,  was born on August 27, 1928 and listened to the call of her Maker to take her exit out of this world on  October 23, 2014, in Monrovia, Liberia. She leaves to mourn her home going, her children: Nathaniel Sandii Sherman, Roselyn Jema Mensah, Lucretia Konor Kandakai, Weyah Patricia Fahnbulleh, Armah Quincy Fahnbulleh,Roland Boakai Kemokai, Meimah Sawaray  Sheriff , Weyah Emily Caine, Hawah Kemokai-Gboyah, Ciatta Kemokai, Foday Kemokai, Jebbeh  Kemokai, and Abu Kemokai.  On the mourner’s bench are also her siblings in persons of Sarlia Moore, Musu Massaquoi, Bendu Passawe, Gbessie Curtis, Lahai Andrew Kroma, Lahai Juku Kroma, Weyah Amadu Kroma, Mamia Kroma, Miatta Kroma, Weyah Kroma, Hawa Kroma and Lahai Dassin. Nephews and nieces left behind are Varney Burphy, Paul Gboto Jones, Aaron Marshall , Foday Kroma, Edmonia Tarpeh, Rose Marshall, Teidi York, Marjorn Greaves, Weyah Kroma and Carolina Burphy. One surviving uncle, Chief Moiba Kroma.  Stand to miss her so dearly are also her thirty (31) grand children, forty-seven (47) great-grand children, a host of relatives and countless friends, many of whom we may never know. May her soul rest in peace.

Wake Keeping: Friday, November 7, 2014,   3:00 - 6 PM,   St. Stephen Episcopal Church, 10th St, Monrovia, Liberia
Funeral Services: Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 9:00 AM, St. Stevens Episcopal Church, 10th St, Monrovia, Liberia
Interment:
Immediately following the Services, the body will be taken to the Irvin Memorial Church Cemetery in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount for interment.
