His Excellency Robert H. Quellie-Kennedy, Sr.

The Kennedy, Harris and Beawogi family announce with deep sorrow the passing of their beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Brother; His Excellency Robert H. Quellie-Kennedy, Sr. Former Ambassador of Liberia to Italy, Lebanon & Yugoslavia, Former Deputy Minister of Labor, Youth & Sports and Former Supervisor of Schools and Superintendent of Lofa County. He was 77 years old. This sad event occurred at 11:00AM at the Charlotte Health Center on Wednesday; October 4, 2006 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ambassador Quellie-Kennedy, Sr. leaves to mourn his loss his wife of 51 years; Gertrude Harris Kennedy - children Robert Quellie Jr., George Zellie, Caroline Ceanea and Saba Roberta. Other children left to mourn his home going are; Rosalita Ann Kennedy, Jerome Washington, Emmanuel W. Cooper and grand children - Robert III, Emmalyn Trudy, Saye Carrie-Sonie, Quellyn Rosa, Imaru Zellie, Jesa Iman, and Jeremy Zion all of the United States. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Matilda Kennedy Woods, Williette Gawolu Moifolley, Rebecca Kennedy, Brother in Law Lewis D. Harris of Trenton, New Jersey, relatives and citizens of the town of Zozoma, all of his beloved people of Lofa County, and the people of Careysburg and his dear country, Liberia.
