John Chenwloh Kofa Sr.
July 25th, 1934 – January 12th, 2018

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
 2 Timothy 4:7

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we the Kofa, Dweh, Lloyd, Gabriel, Monbo, and Crawford Families, announce the death of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather John Chenwloh Kofa Sr.

This irreparable loss occurred on Friday, January 12th 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after a brutal battle with cancer. John will be missed. His family will mourn his loss while cherishing his memories.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Agnes Dweh-Kofa, his children; Martha Kofa-Gabriel, John C. Kofa Jr., Cecelia Kofa, Beatrice Kofa-Lloyd (Arthur) Toeh Kofa, Sophia Kofa-Monbo (Jacob), Michelle Kofa-Crawford (Jimmy). His brother, Joseph D. Kofa Sr. (sis Tetee), his grandchildren; Kanya, Patience, Deva, Gozi, Althea, Tiera, Cecelia, Decontee, John, Mickey, Charles, Siahnimah, Blessing, Jacob Jr., Rashee, Faith and Beaty. His great grandchildren; Shante, Michelle, Sanaa, April and Ian. His nieces and nephews in the USA includes; Theresa Tarpeh, Mary Beh, Sleweion, Sam Nagbe, Cynthia, James Jr., Cathy, Caroline, Sandra, Konwloh, Sawee, Trokon, Walea, Donyen, Sayondee, Josephine, Decontee, Joseph Jr., Juah, Prince, Friday Trokon, Dickie, John Beh 111, Comfort and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and Europe. He is predeceased by his father Nagbe Kofa, his mother Nah Wleh Munah, his brother James Kofa Sr., his sister Martha Gbie Sayondee Kofa and his niece  Dr. Victoria Juah Nimely Brown. May his soul rest in peace with God.
