Larsan Gobeh Korvili

Larsan Gobeh Korvili, 17, a senior at the Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 while away on a two-day religious retreat with about 60 classmates. Larsan was a standout Christian (member of the Peer Ministry Group) Athlete and Student. He was awarded the Silver Key in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art competition for a mixed-media piece called "The Face of Success". This high school senior aspired to attend one of the top U.S military colleges---The U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT following his graduation from high School.

Larsan leaves to mourn his loss his parents: Samuel Fumba Korvili (of Liberia), Julia Montgomery - McGee and Gregory F. McGee; his brother: Emmanuel Karngar; sisters: Jatu Korvili, Hillary and Haley McGee; his grandmother: Julia Zardee; aunts: Cecelia Montgomery-Johnson, Vivian Cargo Kporpah and Feta Montgomery-Browne; and several uncles, including Jacob Wilson Montgomery Jr., aunts, cousins and friends of the USA and Liberia .

Officiating Pastor: Rev. Ronald L. Squibb, Senior Pastor. Burial will follow at the North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Larsan G. Korvili Memorial Scholarship, c/o Bishop Feehan High School, 70 Holcott Drive, Attleboro, MA 02703.
