Lasanah
V. Kromah - Has Gone to Rest With God
The
Kromah, Sabah/Sanyon, Swaray, Fahnbulleh, and Banks
families regret to announce the sudden departure of
Lasanah V. Kromah. This sad event occurred on Wednesday,
September 21, 2005 at his home in Providence, Rhode
Island. Mr. Kromah was the first born son of Alhaji
Varmunyan Kromah and Manyuan Sabah-Kromah. They've both
predeceased him. He, being a devout Moslem, was interred
on Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Providence, Rhode
Island.
He
is survived by his wife and life-long partner of over
thirty years, Josephine Banks-Kromah, his children,
Fata Kromah-Wilson, Fatuma Kromah, Garssumu Lasanah
Kromah, and Manyuan Kromah; his grand daughter, Kathlyn
M. Wilson; his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews,
cousins, in-laws, and a host of other relatives in the
U.S., Africa, and Australia
Forty-Day
Memorial and Prayer Service
His
forty-day Islamic prayer service will be held on Sunday,
November 6, 2005, 2pm, at the Islamic Community
Center, 2400 South 63rd Street, Philadelphia, PA, U.S.A.
