Ms. Julia S. Merchant

The Merchant, Dent and Bowen families announce the triumphant homegoing of Ms. Julia S. Merchant, Sunrise June 29, 1933 ~ Sunset December 31, 2005, at her home 266 Duport Road, Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia. She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Davies, two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Appleton-Wilson and Mrs. Emma E. Merchant, one brother, Mr. Joseph Merchant of Kakata, Liberia, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends

On Friday, January 13, 2006, a family and friend prayer service will be held at her Duport Road home from 9:00pm to Midnight.

Viewing and Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2006, beginning at 9:00am, at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 11th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia. Her remains will be interred at the Duport Road Cemetery following the church service. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
