Georgia Anna Bing Mlendough

The Mlendough, Bing, Minor, Greene, Morris, and Sherman families announce with profound sadness the home going of their dear mother, grandmother, great & great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin; Georgia Anna Bing Mlendough. 

The peaceful passing of Big ma or Ma Georgia, as she was affectionately called, occurred at the home of her grandchildren, Mark and Florence Gaydeh in Gardnersville, Liberia.

Ma Georgia was married to Robert G. Mlendough Sr. who predeceased her.  Their son, John D. Mlendough also predeceased her.  She leaves to morn 9 children [Berthy Outland Smith; Catherine M. Dunn; Robert G. Mlendough Jr.; (Min. Beatrice); Min. Evelyn Georgia M. Kroma; Roberta M. Lormia. (Robert); Ahmed M. Kpou; Allen L. Mlendough (Josephine); Patricia Forkpa; and Hannah Mlendough];  38 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and one sister, Lucinda Witherspoon; and a hosts of other relatives and friends. 

Ma Georgia worked at Booker Washington Institute for 20 years, serving as a dietitian and a supervisor of the janitorial staff.
