Samuel S. Morris

BORN INTO THIS WORLD - JANUARY 3, 1958
GONE TO GLORY – AUGUST 20, 2017

The Morris and Kai families announced with deep sadness the death of their father, uncle, brother, Cousin Mr. Samuel Servia Morris, former employee of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation.

Samuel Servia Morris was born in Greenville City, Sinoe County unto the union of Jacob Franc Morris and Wah Kai. Both parents predeceased him.

Uncle Sammy as he was commonly called was a family person. He was always at the door steps or on the phone with his families informing them of breaking news or unfolding events. Indeed, he leaves a vacuum and will be missed by the family.

He was also predeceased by some of his siblings: Isaac Morris, John L. Morris, Steven Morris, Joshua Morris, Richard F. Morris, Joseph W. Morris, Marcus A. Morris, Robert H. Morris, William B. Morris, Joanna Morris, Mary E. Morris-Morris, Matilda E. Morris, Louise Wayne Morris, Emmalyn Servia Nickell, Verdumi Morris-Swen and Edna Morris Montgomery.

He leaves to mourn his loss, five (5) children: Mrs. Salome S. Morris-Bright, Mathyln M. Morris, Lester K.M Morris, Richmond J. Morris and Melvin J. Morris; Five (5) sisters: Jerusha H. Morris, Geneva Morris-Clarke, Beatrice Morris-Woart of the U.S.A, Laura E. Morris and Betty Peternenon Johnson; One brother: Johnny Chauncey Morris; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and the diaspora.

Funeral Arrangements

Wake Keeping
There will be silent wake on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the residence of the deceased on G.S.A Road, Zubah Compound, Paynesville City.

The body will be a removed from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlour, Sinkor, Monrovia, Montserrado County, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 8:00AM and escorted to the Tubman United Memorial Methodist Church weaver Avenue, Paynesville for funeral Services at 9: 00AM.

Interment
His remains will be buried at the Muimgbah Town Cemetery, on the Robertsfield High way.
