John Wea Nagbe Sr.
Sunrise March 18, 1929 – Sunset June 18, 2013

“In My Father's House are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:2-4

Believing in the promise of a heavenly inheritance, the Nagbe, Boyce and Harrison families announce the home going of Mr. John Wea Nagbe Sr. He was blessed with 84 years of a life. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Monrovia, Liberia. Mr. Nagbe went to Liberia recently in April 2013 after living in the United States since 1998.

He was born unto the union of Nagbe Neh and Dargbedi Gbie of Sasstown, Grand Kru County on March 18, 1929.
He was blessed with a large family: his wife and partner of over 50 years, Mrs. Alice Sunday Nagbe; his children: Rose (William Jusu Boyce Sr.), Clarence, Patricia, Theodore*, Maria (Stephen Harrison), John Patrice Jr.*, Eugene (Wanita), Cornelius (Patience), Lloyd (Nowu), Vincent (Mabel) and Antoinette; his grandchildren Jusu Jr., Lencia, Bryan, Odell, Hawa, Maria II, Rosa Gail, Cornelius Jr., J Patrice II, Elena, Valerie, Benjamin, Benedict, Yaw and Seth; his siblings: Charles*, Christopher*, Paul*, Daniel*, Wonteh*,  Boye*, Lucy*, and Thomas. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Vigil: Friday, June 28, 2013, 9 PM -12 AM at the family residence in Congo Town
Removal of the Body: Saturday, June 29, 2013, 8 AM from the Stryker Funeral Parlors
Funeral: Saturday, June 29, 2013, 9 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Old Road

Interment: Duport Road Cemetery in Paynesville
A Memorial Service will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina on a date to be announced later.
